Web server requirements

  1. Windows Server 2012 R2 or above (64 bit)
  2. IIS 7 or above
  3. MySQL server 5.7
  4. PHP 7.3 or above
  5. Images folder for product/category images, with mapping from KC server

IIS configuration extras (required)

  1. ISAPI filtering for IIS enabled
  2. URL rewriter 2.0 for IIS
  3. IP restriction enable

Minimum hardware*

  1. 8 GB RAM
  2. 3.50 GHz 4 Cores CPU
  3. 200 GB SSD

SQL server requirements

  1. Advice provided by KCSL on case by case basis, typically:
  2. Windows Server 2012 R2 (64 bit)
  3. 5 GB RAM
  4. 50GB SSD
  5. 2 Cores
*We recommend that your server restarts at least 2 days a week within the early morning hours to ensure Windows Update is kept up to date and that the server has a chance to clean temporary files/release memory.

System Requirements (for older than 2012 SQL Server)

If on an ext. server that's outside of the VLAN, that you allow external traffic for the web server to communicate with the Sequence server, this enhances performance of the website when adding to basket, registration etc. Please contact KC Support for more information.

Extra notes

Khaos Control Web does not currently support load balancers, so we highly recommend not implementing one on your website. We cannot guarantee the website's stability if one is implemented.
Images used on a Khaos Control Web website should be placed on the web server, and a network drive mapped to the Khaos Control server.
