How pre auth in Sagepay works

How pre auth in Sagepay works

1. A payment comes in as pre-auth be default form the website (ensuring no one is charged before the website completes the order)

2. In KC, the payment line is then highlighted in green on the SO to show a payment is pending to be authorized

3. Right click the payment line and click ‘Authorize credit card’ (this is the point the customer is charged, this can be automated if you talk to KC Support)

4. The payment line should change to purple to confirm the payment has completed or present with a dialog box, if purple the payment completed successfully
