Accessing the Google Tag Manager Settings

You can access the Google Tag Manager settings by going to “KC:Web” -> “Google Tag Manager” on the left-hand menu.


Available Options

Type: The type of trigger for the enhanced ecommerce data to be sent to Google.

Trigger on Hook Name/URL: The name or URL for the hook to use when being triggered.

DataLayer: The data that is sent to Google as part of the enhanced ecommerce integration.

Enabled: Whether this hook is enabled or not.

Hooks

The enhanced ecommerce integration for Google Tag Manager works by sending data to Google using the data layer of the website. This data is send when certain actions are triggered, or pages are visited, which are defined by hooks.
Adding Items to Basket: A product is added to a customer’s basket.

Removing Items: A product is removed from a customer’s basket.

Checkout Stage 1: The customer visited the basket page.

Checkout Stage 2: The customer visited the summary/review order checkout stage.

Checkout Complete: The customer visited the order complete page.

Product Impressions: The customer visited a category or search page.

Product Detail Impressions: The customer visited a product page.
