Category Requirements

In order for your category structure to be used on a Khaos Control Web website, the following must be done:
  1. It must be setup within the "Web" screen in Khaos Control
  2. The Root Category ID must be set in your website settings (this is normally done by one of our web developers)
  3. Each category and sub-category must have a unique Web Slug (under the Meta tab)
  4. The Hidden option (under the Advanced tab) must be unticked
  5. If you wish to setup a category and not show it within a website's main menu, the Hide of Menu option can be ticked

Category Images

In order for an image on a category to display on a Khaos Control Web website, the following must be done:
  1. The image file should be placed in a folder on the web server, and the file added to the category in Khaos Control via a network mapped drive on the Khaos Control server (under the Category tab)
